Understanding the factors behind an electrical job can make your first conversation more useful. A panel upgrade, an EV charger and wiring concerns in an older home all start with the existing installation. These articles explain what to look out for and what to share with an electrician. They do not diagnose your property or replace an on-site assessment.
A safety-first starting point
Do not remove electrical covers, touch damaged equipment or attempt work based on an article. If there is smoke, fire or immediate electrical danger, move to safety and contact emergency services. For non-emergency concerns, note the symptoms and when they occur, then discuss them with an electrician. Lewis Electrical is available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
